Motivated by his own struggles with stress, he conceived and developed Beam as self-management tool designed to be accessible and affordable for all.
Paul Hulatt: CTOResponsible for Beam’s technical direction and development, Paul brings over 25 years IT & software engineering experience. Prior to joining Beam, Paul designed and built the Supermarket Check-In app during the first UK COVID-19 lockdown which has been downloaded by over 750,000 users and hit the top of the App Store charts. Previously Paul spent 13 years working in motor sport at Brands Hatch as the leader of digital at MSV and was responsible for major projects including those for the British Superbike Championship & FIA Formula 2 Championship.
Claudia Ciecierska: CMOWith a decade of experience in marketing across technology and financial services, Claudia brings a strategic and creative edge to Beam. Known for delivering high-impact, data-driven marketing campaigns, she combines analytical insight with innovative thinking to drive growth and brand engagement. Claudia is passionate about leveraging digital marketing and analytics to shape compelling strategies, and is dedicated to amplifying Beam’s mission and connecting with audiences meaningfully.
Dr Shorful Islam: CDAODr Shorful Islam has a PhD in Psychology, specialising in Health Psychology. He has over 20 years of industry experience in data analytics and advanced analytical and statistical techniques. He is the founder of Be Data Solutions, and Subatomic Analytics, and advisor to OutThink, a predictive human risk platform. Shorful has helped some of the world's largest companies with their data strategies. He has recently published "Data Culture" which explores how leaders can develop and nurture a data-driven culture 's to drive behavioural change.
Alexandra Phillips: CPOAlexandria Phillips is a clinical psychologist with a doctorate in clinical psychology and expertise in evaluating psychological interventions for people living with obesity. She has a strong interest in the interplay between physical and psychological health. Alexandria has worked clinically in the NHS with individuals with complex and enduring mental health difficulties for seven years and has contributed to national multi-centre clinical trials evaluating psychological therapy. She is passionate about advancing mental health care and improving patient outcomes.
Pinder Sahota: AdvisorPinder has over 30 years of experience in the life sciences and medical devices sectors spanning the whole lifecycle from R&D assets to post-patent management, launching brands and building market sectors. The experience covers Global and Regional Commercial Leadership roles as well as extensive Operational Leadership roles at a country affiliate level having worked for Novo Nordisk, Smith & Nephew, AstraZeneca, GSK and Sanofi in the UK, Switzerland, Belgium and Poland.
